High Peace...

Oh my...as I said, one of the highlights of the weekend was making a reservation for the big trip...

Hotel Indigo is our final destination...It looks decadent and yummy, I especially enjoy the way they describe the rooms:

The Hotel Indigo is located in the heart of trendy Scottsdale, home to this new, innovative hotel. Let us inspire you. Throughout the new, 100% smoke free Hotel indigo, design elements appeal to your passion, intellect and senses.

Our 126 rooms have breathtaking decor, over sized beds, fluffy over sized pillows and cozy duvets With 32 in TV spa styled shower decor with hardwood floor and area rugs work area. We have complimentary high speed Internet hot spots throughout the hotel and the guest rooms. An inviting lobby and pub styled social area welcome you into the property.

Relax and enjoy our quick service bistro the Golden Bean for cutting edge cuisine, and we proudly brew Starbucks coffee. To experience Hotel Indigo Scottsdale is to indulge in high peace. Like your favorite retail store, we are dedicated to pleasing you, changing with the seasons for a sense of growth and renewal that remains in your spirit long after you leave. You won't find a better fit than our our hotel in the Scottsdale area! Please note that our swimming pool will be under construction and closed until further notice. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Oh carp...did they say that the pool is closed? NOOOOOO...well, and I just got a new bikini too (it's been years since I felt I have been in shape enough to wear one in front of people...do you think it would be weird if I wore it around the hotel still? nevermind.) We opted for the package that gives us 2 breakfasts a day (that's one each) at the Golden Bean...the one with the cutting edge cuisine? So, I guess we will be indulging in high peace while immersing ourselves in the design elements appealing to our passions, intellect and senses (one asks, could that have to do with the spa styled shower decor? What is that? Never you mind...she says...I will take pictures while I'm there)

Dina says it's as close to Scottsdale Fashion Square without actually being in the mall...oh, heaven. Did you know that you can trot yourself over to their website and see the store layout? And do you know, we've already done that? A small virtual trip, where we've scouted out all the floors, and decided we would be spending most of our time divided between Sephora and Anthropologie...Of course, we will stroll about the mall to all the other shops (one that houses my special gift to myself) Actually, since this is my favoritest Arizona Mall, I do in all actuality know where most of the shops already live...so I think we're gonna' be OK.

Well, I don't know how inspiring this was for you, but I am more inspired to watch that counter in the sidebard...

Come on time...
count down...
(ok, apparently I need a change of scenery)

Your trip sounds wonderous!!! You know, my main squeeze and I used to stay at the San Carlos Hotel in downtown PHX and it was wonderful!!! Are you girls going to the museum to see that human exhibit?? Oh my goodness, you have to go to Durant's. It's this great cocktail swanky mobster restaurant in downtown PHX. My main squeeze used to take me there all the time and it was funny because if you park in the back, you get to walk through the kitchen!!! Like Goodfellas!! Thanks for my b-day wishes. I love cake, I got so much cake. I had to focus on it. I have to hit the gym like seriously this week to make up for all the cake!
