A Friday Portrait...

Ahhhh...
the end of the week right? Oh no wait...

I gotta' work one extra day.

Plus, I get
to get up extra early on both Friday and Saturday mornings. My mother is running an estate sale this weekend. My job was to make the signs (all 6 of them)

I did.
And, I did it well.

As I said to her, "I had one job...and I did it up!" I used both purple and red sparkle paint. Prescott estate sail-ers, watch out (I did have an unfortunate experience with the red paint, as I opened it and it exploded...all over me. All over my face, and the counter at Snap Snap and my outfit. I looked like some girlie version of Dracula with red glitter blood dripping down my face. Now, that I should have taken a picture of) I'm have also been recruited to help out both mornings of the sale wherever I'm needed.

I think
I'm just not tired enough...I must push through the tired envelope and see what's on the other side. Maybe it will be a bed...and a fluffy pillow...and a masseuse, perhaps someone dressed in a loin cloth with a palm-frond fan peeling grapes for me?

Oh dear, I digress.

I at one point this week began thinking of these elaborate plans for my one and only day off. Like...what shall I sew? Or make? As I get closer to Sunday, I am thinking...what PJ's would feel good to wear all day in case I can't physically get out of bed? Or, who delivers food in town that I can actually eat?
(or maybe I should don something extra special in case the guy with the grapes shows up?)

Meanwhile...I thought I would take some pictures of myself and post them, cause' I haven't done that in a long while (and at some point I was trying to get all comfortable with myself in pictures...oh yeah) I got a little on the arty side all of a sudden, with all the mirrors in the bathroom and such. I also thought I would document my Friday face...

cause if you think I look tired now...
just wait until Saturday night!

I do wish you'd had the camera around for that paint accident (although you give a pretty vivid account of it in words). Get some sleep this weekend!
