And I'm convinced they would make excellent fronts to just such an endeavor. But alas, no luck.wendehttp://evidently.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22698796.post-71997336541789886202009-08-15T12:21:41.289-07:002009-08-15T12:21:41.289-07:00A terrific find, Sadira. I fear that in my old age, I find it easier to take pictures and blog, instead of needlework, which I have always enjoyed.Granny Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07302978680897139954noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22698796.post-76146482450408057362009-08-14T18:13:08.064-07:002009-08-14T18:13:08.064-07:00Those are so beautiful! Those are so beautiful!flutterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11828689769747130419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22698796.post-41069463646682581972009-08-14T15:07:18.602-07:002009-08-14T15:07:18.602-07:00LOVELOVELOVE this post Sadira!! I almost fell out of my chair the second I saw the first picture and then to read 1) where you found them (I have to come to your neck of the woods for some serious thrifting) and 2) the age of these pieces. That is just amazing that you found them! I have x-stitched for 26 years and have always wanted to own a sampler. Funny about how our taste changes though. I have been looking longingly at the newer patterns made to look old and even some primitive stuff. Nothing I would have even glanced at a few years ago. Oh, I wish I could come see you!! But right now, don't even have a car (L-O-N-G story) Might even blog about it tomorrow. <br />Is it possible that the "animal" is a bird, carrying something. Could it be a stork or something? Just glancing at it, it looks like a bird to this Cross stitcher. And yes, please frame them and {{GIVE THEM TO ME }} sorry and evil person took over my hand, and give them the honor they deserve.Kristalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01841153834875738083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22698796.post-44894528431290427142009-08-14T13:06:41.330-07:002009-08-14T13:06:41.330-07:00These samples are beautiful. I've been so hungry.Rowanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07820605555044706565noreply@blogger.com
